Delightful Innovation: The All-New Honda CR-V shows off in an exhilarating media drive experience across Bataan and Subic
November 13-14, 2023: Select media partners and Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) took the recently introduced All-New Honda CR-V up north to get to know and test all the new features and technologies, plus the model’s exceptional fuel economy and exhilarating driving performance.
During the two-day event, the participants got to experience all available variants through the bustling streets of Metro Manila from Paranaque City, to the country roads and mountain passes of Bataan and Subic. The convoy was comprised of all variants of the all-new model, the 2.0 RS e:HEV E-CVT, 1.5 VX Turbo CVT AWD, and 1.5 V Turbo CVT adorned with Honda Genuine Accessories. Also showcased were the latest technologies debuting on the All-New CR-V, namely the e:HEV technology, improved VTEC Turbo, improved Honda SENSING and the new Honda CONNECT.
HCPI President Ms. Rie Miyake appreciated the media partners’ active participation and noted the CR-V’s legacy, “There is no denying that this model is a global icon, and we take pride in it being among pioneer SUVs.” She also emphasized Honda’s continuing drive to realize “Safety for Everyone” through the improved Honda SENSING and the new Honda CONNECT, “The All-New Honda CR-V also came with the Honda CONNECT which allows a seamless connection of users with their cars via a smartphone application for an enhanced safety, security, and convenience throughout the ownership experience.”
The e:HEV is Honda’s first full hybrid system, touting multiple drive modes that deliver a sophisticated drive and an exceptional environmental performance. It is a major step of Honda towards its commitment to electrification and carbon neutrality. VTEC Turbo technology also makes its way into the CR-V for the first time, blending power and economy. Both powertrains were widely appreciated throughout the media drive experience.
