Q: What is Honda Caremittance program and what does it offer?

A: Honda Caremittance is the newest, easy and convenient way of buying a brand new Honda car for your family in the Philippines. You may now set your order via internet and send payment through BPI Express Remittance center, RCBC Telemoney Center and our new partner BDO Remittance Center near you.

Q: Where is it available?

A: Honda Caremittance is available for Filipinos overseas and their families in the Philippines.

Q: Who is eligible to apply?

A: To qualify:

  • Applicant must be a Filipino presently working or residing outside the country.
  • Natural-born citizen who lost his/her Filipino Citizenship through naturalization in another country is also qualified. Applicant must present certificate of naturalization.
  • Must have the financial ability to make the payment for the vehicle whether in full or financing.
  • Applicant must be 21 years of age and be able to do acts with legal effects.
For installment, applicant must have a beneficiary, co-maker or co-borrower who is based in the Philippines. Co-maker can be your spouse or parent.

For sibling, trusted relative or friend, you must obtain a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) notarized by Philippine Consulate in your country of residence.

Q: How do I apply to Honda Caremittance program?

Q: Do I need a Special power of Attorney if the car will be registered under my spouse or parent's name?

A: If the car will be registered under your spouse or parent's name, as your beneficiary and co-maker, then no need to submit a Special Power of Attorney or SPA. But if your co-maker is your sibling, trusted relative or friend, then SPA is necessary.

Q: How will I know the result of my application?

A: You will receive an email notice or call from us informing you of the result of your application. We will keep in-touch with your beneficiary and co-maker (for installment) and update them of the status of your loan application.

Q: Do I need to send the original copy of the required documents?

A: If you will purchase in cash, no need to send the original copy of the documents you submitted, however, if you are availing through financing, then you have to send to your beneficiary and/or co-maker the original copy of the documents. They may present these papers during the loan signing.

Q: If I will apply through financing, what are the miscellaneous fees?

A: Chattel Mortgage Fee and Comprehensive Insurance will be added to the computation of the quotation.

Q: How will I send my payment?

A: You may send your payment through any BPI Express Remittance center, RCBC Telemoney Center, BDO Remittance Center, or Unionbank Remittance Office near you.

If cash, here are your options:

  • You may send the payment for the car to your beneficiary and pay our dealer -or-
  • You may send the payment through the nearest BPI Express Remittance center, RCBC Telemoney Center, BDO Remittance Center, or Unionbank Remittance Office. You will be given an instruction on how and where you will remit the payment.
If financing:
  • Auto debit to your account

Q: How does Honda ensure delivery of the car to my beneficiary?

A: Honda Caremittance representative will inform you of the delivery of the car to your beneficiary. We will also forward you photos of your beneficiary with your brand new car! During the transaction, Honda representative will get in-touch with your beneficiary to inform them of the status of your application.
